Starting to implement first prototype, brainstorming about underlying architecture ideas

Trying to understand, what is wrong with social media. Why is quality of postings not satisfying, why is the feed quality degrading and not improving

We got the idea to allow one posting per day max. More comments and responds, but one posting per day. Say what needs to be said. Don't twitter around. At least not on tingding.cloud.

In German, there is the term bemuttern. "Bemuttern" is a German slang term, and it’s a bit playful in nature. It combines the verb "muttern" (a colloquial form of "mutter," which means "to mother" or "to act like a mother") with the prefix "be-" that can imply action or direction. (says chatgpt). Most social media sites bemuttern their users to make them spend as much time as possible. We want to be different. But how?

Give users control over their feed. Let them follow tags, users, and hubs. But how does this improve the quality of their feed?

We work on the code while thinking about the direction. Steering speed boats somehow.

What about letting users up- and down-vote tags? So a poster adds some tags to make the posting visible to users following that tag. Maybe someone gets the idea to add tags, which are not justified. So what if recipients of the post can up- and down-vote the tag. Upvoted tags increase posting visibility. Downvoted tags decrease posting visibility (w.r.t to that tag)

What about letting readers even add other tags to postings?
